I went to the Scarecrow Festival in Urchfont a few weeks back.

There were about 52 scarecrows to guess.

I think I got… maybe 2 right.

Possibly 4 if we’re being generous.

My father-in-law, on the other hand, was getting loads.

But I have no complaints.

Music artists

Pop stars

Movie stars (maybe the theme last year)

I have no idea about. Not my thing.

Meanwhile I was just there enjoying the scarecrows, learning a bit, and enjoying a walk with zero phone signal.

But it made me think.

Sometimes we avoid starting something because we don’t want to feel like the person who doesn’t know what they’re doing.

We don’t want to walk into a room and think:

“Am I behind?”

“Does everyone know more than me?”

“Will I look silly?”

And this comes up a lot with fitness and with women I talk to thinking about joining Fruci Fit.

People worry they won’t be fit enough.

Or they won’t know what to do.

Or everyone else will be better.

But …

You don’t need to know everything before you start.

You don’t need to be good at it yet.

You don’t need to be the person getting 52 out of 52 on the scarecrow quiz.

Sometimes you just need to turn up, have a go, and learn as you go.

That’s exactly how we do things at Fruci Fit.

It’s why we do what we do.

Why we exist.

You come in.

We guide you.

We adapt things to your level.

You work at your pace.

And over time?

You start to feel more confident.

Stronger.

Fitter.

More capable.

Now, we can’t fix everything.

Including scarecrow quizzes..

But we can start to get you moving from A to B.

To find your safe place. Like minded women.

So you can start to feel energised again.

PS. I’m not one to ask for a pub quiz team

PPS. Unless the quiz has nutrition questions. I come alive then.
