How they overcome fear

So some of the Fruci Fit ladies did the The Longevity Games at the weekend and pushing comfort zones and doing things they would never have done before

The Longevity Games, which is a relatively new event in Swindon, is very much in line with Fruci Fit, working at your pace. Your pace is the right pace.

Whether you’re running, walking, squatting to the depth you are comfortable with. It is about You Vs You and doing the best you can.

After all, you should always compare:

You doing your best Vs You doing nothing

^ Something I talk about a lot in our accountability challenge in the Fruci Fit 28 Day Kickstart (message me with ‘Kickstart’ for more info).

It was interesting hearing some of the comments before, from ‘it’s sunday, why am I doing this”

To

‘I’m so nervous”

But at the end?

That sense of achievement that ‘I did that”.

The smiles.

The portfolio of confidence being built showing you CAN do this.

Building evidence to give you the confidence to keep going.

So if you have got a bit of fear today, that’s normal. It just means you’re growing. It just means you’re doing stuff that maybe you wouldn’t normally do.

And it’s hard, don’t get me wrong, but it’s hard not doing it too. We want to be fit for life. We want to eliminate these aches and pains, age well, be stronger, be able to do the things we want to do, whether that’s getting up and down from the floor more easily, tying our shoelaces, running a fitness event, walking a fitness event, being able to play with the kids, grandkids, for a long period of time, whatever it is.

To do these things and to be able to keep doing these things?

We have to do something..

Something that might push your comfort zone. And might feel hard.

But remember, it will be hard anyway.

The consequences of doing nothing are a lot harder (in my humble opinion).

So if you have fear today?

Remember, it is normal 🙂 Everyone feels it.
