Falling off the bandwagon? Consider this

Happy Friday…

Now before you say “I have fallen off the bandwagon” this weekend

I want you to consider this:

What actually does the bandwagon look like?

You see, most people walk around not knowing what ‘good’ looks like..

With no idea of expectations.

Sure, you may have high expectations….

But what if these expectations don’t match your values?

That essentially means that you’ll feel rubbish when you don’t do the the things that align with your values

because you have not been ‘perfect’..

Can your expectations on a weekend be the same as during the week?

Do you need to change them? Adapt them?

Will this make you less ‘all or nothing’ and more focussed on controlling what you can?

We often take the initial reaction to a situation:

“That was rubbish”

“I must be lazy”

“I have been good”

“I have been bad”

As gospel…

Forgetting that there is a terrific, a terrible, a positive and a negative in everything..

The better you get at being objective about this?

The more control you have over your self sabotage..

Matt
