Can I eat the same things everyday? 💁‍♀️💁‍♂️

Should I get more variety?

Great questions.

When it comes to your diet / nutrition plan…

You have to make it

1) easy

2) convenient

And if you look at studies in people who’ve kept the weight off for more than 10 months ?

Sure, they often have support and a community..

But the one they are is quite, well, boring.

“What’s for breakfast?” They are asked.

Their responses go like this..

“Porridge on Monday, porridge on Tuesday, porridge on Wednesday”

Or

“Poached eggs on toast Monday, poached on toast on Tuesday, poached egg on toast on Wednesday”

Sure, you can have variety.

I mean, some days I like mackerel in olive oil. Other days? I like mackerel in tikka sauce. Variety is the spice of life, right? I joke.

In all seriousness, change it up as you wish, but the key thing?

1) does it make it convenient to stick to?

2) does it make you life easy or hard?

For me, I like to keep my breakfast and lunch pretty samey – something egg, yoghurt, mackerel based. Then in evening, I can be more flexible with the kids 😀

I know what you’re thinking..why the tin opener? After being left stranded after the ring on my mackerel tin broke off and we have no tin opener at the Fruci Fit – Personal Training studio, I’m now delighted to say we have a tin opener. Therefore, the whole Fruci Fit team can enjoy mackerel, care free, without stressing about the ring on the mackerel tin breaking off 😀
