Saw this on our wins post last week:

And that is the bit I love.
Because nobody wakes up one day and suddenly goes:
“Oh lovely, I can do push ups now.”
It happens through progression.
Wall push ups.
Knee push ups.
Getting a little deeper.
Building the core.
Getting stronger in other exercises.
Trying again.
Keeping going.
And then one day something that used to feel impossible is suddenly possible.
That is powerful.
And it is not just push ups.
It’s other wins like

And this is what we mean when we say fitness is not just about the scales.
Of course, lots of us want to lose weight.
Tone up.
Feel better in clothes.
Get fitter for summer.
All of that matters.
But there are also those little life wins.
Carrying things.
Walking further.
Getting up from the floor.
Feeling stronger.
Doing something you used to dread.
Having more confidence.
Actually wanting to exercise rather than seeing it as something you have to survive.
That is the goal.
And the way you get there is not by waiting until you feel ready.
It is by starting where you are.
Wall push up if needed.
Knee push up if needed.
Lower weights if needed.
No floor if needed.
More rest if needed.
We adapt.
You just keep going.
Our next 7 Day Trial starts Monday
It is for women 40+, 50+, 60+, 70+ and beyond who want to get in shape, tone up, feel stronger, fitter and more confident for summer and beyond.
Especially if you pretty much know what you need to do…
But need the plan, support and accountability to actually do it.
The trial is £10 for the week.
You can try up to 3 sessions.
We have sessions in Marlborough, Chippenham, Devizes and from home too.
If you enjoy it and want to carry on, great.
If not, that is fine too.
At least you’ll know what we’re like.
And worst case, you might leave with a few ideas, a bit more confidence, and the reminder that you can start smaller than you think.
No contract.
No joining fee.
No being thrown into exercises that are not right for you.

PS. I never used to be able to do pony tails on my daughters hair, now I’m told I’m pretty good. It’s come from doing. I dread plaits though
