Since I’ve done my knee –  ACL/ meniscus – playing football..

I’ve not had hayfever!

I know.

Medical breakthrough.

Someone alert the NHS.

I injured my knee this year, so clearly that must be the reason…

Which, of course, is absolute nonsense.

That would be like saying umbrellas cause rain because every time it rains, you see umbrellas.

But this is where we can get caught out with fitness and nutrition.

Someone does one thing…

Then something changes…

And we assume the first thing caused the second thing.

“I cut carbs and lost weight, so carbs were the problem.”

“I started drinking lemon water and felt better, so lemon water must be magic.”

“I did this detox and lost 4lb, so I must have removed toxins.”

Or in my case…

“I did my ACL and now my hayfever has gone.”

Obviously ridiculous.

But it’s a good reminder to be a bit curious.

What’s actually working?

What’s the evidence?

Is this helping because of the thing itself…

Or because it made you eat a bit better, move a bit more, drink more water, or pay more attention?

And this is why we try to keep things simple at Fruci Fit.

Not magic hacks.

Not “never eat this again.”

Not random Instagram nutrition advice

^^ more on cortisol and women’s health another day.

Just the basics done consistently.

Moving more.

Getting stronger.

Eating more protein.

Getting support and accountability.

And learning what works for you.

Because most women we work with already know some of what they “should” do.

They just need the plan, support and confidence to actually do it.

If you’ve been thinking about giving Fruci Fit a go, our next 7 Day Trial weeks start:

Monday 1st June
Monday 15th June

£10 for the week.

Up to 3 sessions.

At your pace.

For women 40+, 50+, 60+, 70+ and beyond who want to feel fitter, stronger, more confident and more capable.

PS. Please don’t injure your knee to fix hayfever. I’ll go over what the research actually shows about hayfever tomorrow

PPS. It has nothing to do with marmite and peanut butter. Although, I’m a fan of that.
