“I’m just lazy…”

I hear this a lot.

And most of the time?

It’s not true.

Because the same person saying that is often disciplined in loads of other areas of life.

Work.

Family.

Helping others.

Getting things done.

They’re not lazy.

They just haven’t got the right structure around this bit yet.

Bit like me with getting my haircut

I’m disciplined with my rehab.

Training.

Nutrition.

But booking a haircut?

Apparently impossible.

I keep saying:

“I’ll do it later…”

Then later becomes next week.

And my hair gets more messy… and out of control.

The problem isn’t knowing what to do.

I know I need to book the haircut so I actually show up.

That’s it.

The problem is scheduling it in and being accountable to it.

And this is exactly the same with getting back into fitness.

A lot of people think:

“I’m not disciplined enough.”

“I won’t keep it up.”

“I’ve tried before and stopped.”

“I used to be fitter… but I’ve let it slip.”

But often it’s not discipline.

It’s structure.

It’s support.

It’s having somewhere to show up where someone is expecting you.

That’s exactly why we run our 7 Day Trial at Fruci Fit.

Not to throw you in the deep end.

Not to expect you to be where you were 5 or 10 or 20 years ago.

Just to help you get started again.

At your pace.

With coaches who can adapt things for you.

And a simple structure so you don’t have to keep relying on motivation.

Because motivation is a bit like my haircut booking system…

Unreliable…

Our 7 Day Trial is this week and next week ( w/c 18th May)

£10 for the week.

Up to 3 sessions.

A chance to come in, get moving again, build a bit of confidence and see how it feels.

No pressure to be perfect.

No need to “get fit first”.

Because you’re probably not lazy.

You probably just need the right support around you.

PS. If you’ve been telling yourself “I’ll sort it next week” for a while… this might be your haircut moment. Book it in before it gets even more out of control.

PPS. If you come to the trial you’ll find out if I’ve actually had my haircut yet
