People were hitting the emergency button to get out..

Even after being told not to.

Train was supposed to get in at 11:30pm…

Ended up getting in at 6:45am back to Swindon.

Same train… not moving… for hours.

Ended up with a taxi for a bit then another train. Waiting around for the first train of the day whisk was also now delayed. Completely out of routine.

I couldn’t control how long it takes..

But I can control what I do.

Work, emails, blogs, bit of sleep << these are things I could control.

Energy is finite. I can either waste it on “why does this happen to me?”

Or flip it and ask better questions:

“why does this happen for me?”

It’s why we focus on the 3Fs in Fruci Fit. This allows us to focus on the process and habits rather than just the outcome

Eg rather than “have I lost weight?”

A better question is also:

“Have I done my food, fitness and focus habits?”

Why?

As you’re in control of the habits but not the outcome.

The more you control the habits?

The better the outcome is likely to be over time.

The less “F it” moments

These habits don’t have to be massive things:

Getting a short walk in

Eating something decent instead of whatever’s easiest

Showing up for something… even if it’s not perfect

Because that’s what keeps you moving forward.

Especially if you’re someone who used to be fitter…

It’s easy to think:

“I should be doing more than this…”

But actually?

This is it.

This is what “getting back into it” looks like.

Not perfect weeks.

Just not stopping.

And this is exactly why having support matters.

Because on your own… it’s very easy to drift.

But when someone’s expecting you… guiding you… helping you adjust…

You don’t stop.

You just keep going.

At your pace.

That’s what we do on our 7 Day Trial.

Not expect perfection.

Just help you:

Turn up

Do what you can

Keep going

We’ve got trial weeks starting:

w/c 11th May

w/c 18th May

£10 for the week. Up to 3 sessions.

If you’ve been thinking “I just need to get back into it…”

Matt

PS. Thank goodness for Pret being open at 430am at Paddington whilst I waited for the first train of the day… some egg pots and a decaf latte to keep me going (decaf so I didn’t get too much out of my circadian rhythm and could cat nap)
