That’s what she said about starting weights.

And I get that.
Because for a lot of people…
Weights feel a bit intimidating.
A bit unfamiliar.
A bit… “not for me”.
Maybe you’ve been shown what to do once but then left to it.
So what happens?
We avoid it.
Stick to what we know.
Stay where it feels comfortable.
But when do this we miss out on these moments:
“I can already feel more confident and stronger.”
And that’s the bit that matters.
Because she didn’t wait to feel confident first.
She just gave it a go.
At her pace.
With someone there guiding her.
I think this is where a lot of people get stuck.
There’s a line I keep coming back to lately:
Quitting doesn’t end the struggle. It just delays the restart.
And it’s true.
Because whether it’s fitness, health, or anything else…
It comes back around.
Either because you decide to…
Or because you kind of have to.
Aches and pains.
Energy dropping.
Feeling a bit less able than you used to.
Health issues..
What I liked about this message was how simple it was.
She didn’t overhaul everything.
Didn’t suddenly love weights overnight.
She just stepped slightly out of her comfort zone…
And now she’s feeling the benefit of it.
A bit stronger.
A bit more confident.
That’s all we’re really trying to do with the 28 Day Kickstart.
Nothing extreme.
Just helping you:
Show up
Do what you can
Build a bit of confidence each week
And go from there..
Because the longer you leave it, the harder it gets.
