I was chatting to someone on Monday who has just started their Fruci Fit 28 Day Kickstart.
We were talking about the three legs of the stool we focus on:
Food
Fitness
Focus
And the Focus part is often the one people overlook.
^^ me included
It’s about doing small things for yourself that make you feel good.
Protect and create energy for you to make everything else easier. .
They said one of their focus habits this week was taking a bit more time getting ready in the morning. Doing their hair how they like it. Not rushing out the door.
As they said that, it reminded me of something.
For the last week I’ve been saying to myself:
“I need to get a haircut.”
^^ as may have noticed if you watch any of my videos or the Fruci Fit YouTube channel.
But every day it was:
“I don’t have time.”
“I’ll do it next week.”
“Too busy.”
Then after that conversation I thought… hang on.
So I booked a haircut.
Now this might sound like a small thing.
But it made me realise something.
Even when we know something will make us feel better… we still push it down the list.
We tell ourselves we don’t have time.
But often it’s not a time problem.
It’s a priority problem.
And the funny thing is…
When you do something that makes you feel better, it often has a domino effect.
You often think differently.
You move a bit more.
You eat a bit better.
You take a bit more care of yourself.
Even something small like sorting your hair out can remove that little mental niggle.
Because when mine gets too long, it actually annoys me more than I give it credit for..
Perhaps it’s not that surprising though, given I talk everyday about how the small things matter more than we give them credit for.
That’s why on the 28 Day Kickstart we focus on the three things that create momentum:
Food
Fitness
Focus
Not perfection.
Just building habits that help you feel better and take care of yourself again.
Because once that starts happening…
A lot of other things start falling into place too.
Be it making everyday tasks easier
Getting stronger
Fitter
Feeling more confident and saying “yes” to things you’d shy away from.
If you’d like some help putting those three things together in a way that fits your life, you can find out more about the 28 Day Kickstart here:
