“I’m not sure if I’m hungry”
I think to myself walking around the kitchen.
If I’m asking that question, am I actually hungry?
If you ever feel like you can’t stop snacking, try this first.
I call it a quick snack check.
Before you grab something, just pause for a moment and do three simple things.
- have a glass of water.
It sounds obvious, but a lot of the time we’re just a bit dehydrated.
- move your body for a minute.
Stretch.
Do a few squats.
Walk around the block.
Even a quick one minute workout can change how you feel
- if you’re still hungry, have a protein-based snack.
Something like:
Greek yoghurt
Eggs
Chicken
A protein shake
- Now here’s the important bit.
After that, if you still think…
“You know what… I just want something.”
Then have it.
Because this isn’t about banning foods.
It’s about putting a small pause between the impulse…
…and the decision.
So the choice becomes your choice.
Not the little monkey on your shoulder saying…
“Eat that. Eat that. Eat that.”
Because a lot of the time it’s not hunger.
It’s boredom.
Stress.
Habit.
And when you slow things down for a moment…
You often feel a bit more in control.
Now here’s the thing.
Most people already know things like this.
They’ve read it.
Heard it.
Saved the post.
But knowing…
is different from doing it consistently.
And that’s what we help people with on the 28 Day Kickstart.
Not extreme diets.
Awareness.
Just helping you build simple habits that work in real life.
So you can actually stick to the things you already know will help.
