It’s definitely felt lighter outside this last week.

Which got me thinking…

How many days until summer?

118 days.

Another few weeks and we’re talking even lighter mornings, spring, being outside more…

And it got me thinking about time.

Because time does move quickly.

One minute it’s January…

Then it’s “where did that go?”

15% of the year has gone already. 

What do you want to feel like 118 days from now?

More energy?

Stronger?

More confident?

Less achy?

More able to do the things you enjoy?

Because those things don’t come from one big push.

They come from what you do consistently between now and then.

And here’s the honest bit…

Most people don’t need 118 days.

They just need to start.

Because if you don’t start now…

You blink, and it’s June, and you’re thinking:

“I wish I’d started earlier.”

And I get it.

It’s easy to wait for the perfect time.

When life is quieter.

When motivation is higher.

When everything lines up.

But that rarely happens.

Progress comes from doing something… even when it’s not perfect.

Doing what you can.

Showing up.

Repeating it.

A bit like me and my knee injury. 

Another few weeks until I see the surgeon again. 

Who knows where I may be 118 days from now ..

Be it facing more surgery or walking In the sunshine with no brace around my knee

Either way, I want to be stronger and fitter than I am now.
