It’s just that 0% Greek yogurt can sometimes give me a bit more flexibility.
^^ notice I said “sometimes”. It’s got to suit my lifestyle. Like I say over and over again to everyone at Fruci Fit
You see —
- It’s still just yoghurt (not full of sugar — that’s a myth, as long as it’s just Greek yoghurt).
- It actually has more protein, calcium, iodine, and B vitamins than full-fat.
- And by going for 0%, I saved a bit of fat — which meant I could enjoy more of the fats I wanted later…
Like:
- Avocado
- Mackerel (of course)
- And a good handful of nuts that I threw on top for a bit of crunch.
Tasty, crunchy, and packed with polyunsaturated fats (great for cholesterol), selenium (for your hair), vitamin E (hello skin glow), and a bit of protein too.
It’s not about being low fat or high fat or full fat or no fat — it’s about context and making swaps that suit you.
As we say at Fruci Fit, that’s the key to putting together a plan that fits your lifestyle so you can become fit for life.
In 17 years of doing this, I can confidently say that it’s the consistency that works, be it with your exercise or your diet. Sure. A quick fix can be a part of this. But there will always be challenges and obstacles.
If you find something you can stick to ? Keep doing it. Even if that’s not Fruci Fit. If it is? Then great!
And as hard as it gets. As much as it feels like it’s “taking too long to see results”…
Remember that time will pass anyway.
You can either take action that takes you closer to where you want to be
Or
Stay stuck.
You always have a choice (unless it comes to liking mackerel. You should love it)
