I always get up early on a Sunday (even earlier than other days)
Being on baby duty basically means I need to be in when the baby gets up
So I got up early (4am), laced up and ran to the studio.
Did a quick intense workout to fatigue the legs.
Then I ran again.
If the baby wakes up mid-run?
I turn back. Fast.
That’s my sprint finisher
If the baby doesn’t wake up?
I just keep running…
Is it the perfect workout?
Is it scientifically formulated?
No…
But while doing this it reminded me about the story / quote about lamps.

Picking a lamp when you’ve just moved into an empty house?
Easy. You just need something that gives light.

Even if it’s not perfect. Even if it’s not as long as you would normally workout for. Even if your t shirt is inside out as you got dressed in the dark (so I didn’t wake the baby)
