Why does this always happen to me?

Why am I so rubbish?

Why did I forget that?

Why did I just do that?

Why do I have no willpower?

^^ ever ask those questions?

Yep, me too.

And I get it. Like me, it’s easier to beat yourself up.

Thing is, these are all terrible questions. I’ve said many recently and over the years, from waking up feeling tired and skipping a workout to reacting to our Chippenham studio having a flood the other week (back to normal now).  Thing is, they aren’t productive questions at all.

They force you to look for reasons that reaffirm your negative thoughts. And even though you probably know this, I want to remind you to ask different questions.

  1. What’s positive about this?(Yep even a flood had positives)
  2. What could I learn from this?
  3. Knowing what I know now, how could I use this experience in the future?
  4. As hard as this is, when does become a “story” you tell that becomes a bit funny or the “good old days”?

Best part?

You could literally apply this to any scenario!

Although I hope this helps you…

This is also for me too
