“I just self sabotage”
Ever said that before?
Here are 3 ways to overcome self sabotage:
1-Remember that you’re not the only one finding it hard / failing. It’s actually a part of it. And I quote Michael Jordan

Because actually, when we label something as a ‘bad’ day, a ‘rubbish’ day, how do we actually know that it is? It is usually the time frame that adds perspective.
For example, I remember a day when I hated public speaking at Loughborough University. I was so nervous, I just wanted the floor to swallow me up. My supervisor (in front of everyone) asked me what I wanted to do, as if I can’t communicate, I won’t ever be able to do that…
Well, I labelled that as the WORST day ever at the time.
But looking back? It was actually the BEST day. It gave me the kick up the bum I really needed.
2- This quote from Roger Federer says it all

So today, if you feel like you’ve ‘messed up’, ‘that didn’t go my way’,focus on the next point / next decision. Frame that as THE most important decision.
3) Ask this question:
What am I committed to at this moment right now? AKA what are my actions suggesting I am actually committed to right now at this moment.
So when you’re in this space, just keep asking this question as much as you can.
You might say things like,
“I want to lose weight”
“I need to get fitter”
“I wish I wasn’t out of breath so much”
“I want to fit into my clothes better”
“get rid of these aches and pains”
“Improve my relationship with food”
BUT..
What are you committed to? What are your actions saying you’re committed to at this moment right now?
Ask that question, reflect on it, take action.
