Motivation is a funny thing..
You know what you need to do.
You know you should do it as you want to [insert reason here]
^^ reasons could be ‘weight loss’, ‘health’, ‘mobility’, ‘don’t want to age and be like [insert someone you know you has made you realise you need to look after yourself or you will be like that], ‘I want to feel more confident in my favourite clothes’.. I could go on
But even with this?
You find yourself not doing it.
So here are 2 things that might help:
- Are you goals linked to your KEY reason? Sure you might have to do things you don’t really enjoy right now. But if you don’t, consider, you may be FORCED to do things you don’t enjoy later down the line if your health and fitness is not in check
- Are your goals linked with an event? We find people who have a certain goal such as a wedding to attend, holiday, or a fitness event, be it a Fruci Fit event, a 5k or even a Hyrox, helps give purpose to the exercise
^^ consider that with the 2nd point though, this does not give you licence to eat anything and everything , which is where a plan will 100% help as it is common to overestimate how many calories you burn from exercise
And I want to share a secret…
It’s going to be difficult..
But guess what?
Whether you choose to change and take action or stay the same?
It will be difficult anyway.
So you may as well choose the difficult that makes you feel amazing after…
