“but I lost so much weight before”

Had a chat with someone the other day who wants to lose the 3 stone they just put back on.

They lost it doing some shakes.

And get frustrated that the scales aren’t moving as fast.

I mean they have lost SOME weight.

→ got stronger

→ Fitter

→ Fewer ‘F it’ days where they eat a pack of biscuits

BUT

The scales moved quicker doing the shake diet.

And that is hard to compare.

I get it.

But my question was this:

  1. Are you finding this hard?
  2. Why did the weight come back on?

AKA

what they are doing now might be slower

But they are finding it works with their lifestyle

It’s not as hard

And the weight, albeit less, is staying off.

Not to mention

They are stronger

And fitter.

Fitting clothes better…

Making everyday tasks easier

Getting up and down from the floor more easily,

Not relying on family / friends to do tasks for you…

Food for thought.
