#1 question to help you get motivated today…
I spoke yesterday about how we ALL -even me – don’t always feel like doing the things we probably know we need to do …
So I thought I would share a quick question (well 2 questions) today that helps me…
Quick warning..
It is pretty direct.
And most won’t answer this..
As it feels easier to avoid this.
Here you go:
“What’s the cost of not doing the things you know you need to do and
what happens 6 -12 months from now if you don’t do anything?”
^^ read that again
The human brain will often put our focus on the costs of doing something rather than not doing something…
We get instant gratification from procrastinating.
We get instant gratification from saying I will do it tomorrow.
It seems easier…
To do nothing.
Sometimes we don’t know how we can feel…
And we accept where we are ‘is what it is’…
So if you are lacking motivation today?
“What’s the cost of not doing the things you know you need to do and
what happens 6 -12 months from now if you don’t do anything?”
