December can feel like “hold on tight and hope for the best” season…
Christmas parties…
Eating out…
Kids off school…
Work deadlines…
But here’s the good news:
There are a few tiny things you can do now that make busy weeks easier — and set you up perfectly for a great January (like our 28 Day Kickstart which is now open).
Here are the 5 tips I shared this week:
1) Protein snacks packed and ready
Quick to grab. Keep you full. Stop the “I’ll just have a nibble” moments. I always carry a protein shake for ease.
2) Carry water (sparkling works wonders)
It keeps you satisfied.
3) Schedule your workouts in
If it’s not in the diary, let’s be honest… it’s not happening.
Even 5, 10, 20 minutes counts.
4) Plan your meals around eating out
If you’re logging your food, plug in your restaurant meal first — then you instantly know what you’ve got to play with for the rest of the day.
Makes staying on track 10x easier.
5) Steps + small bouts of movement
Even on crutches I’m still getting my movement in.
Little 1-minute workouts… gentle movement… it all adds up to feeling good.
And then I’m pushing my upper body a more than normal. Using the calories to make progress with that.
These five things won’t make December perfect (nothing will)…
But they WILL help you feel more in control, enjoy Christmas without the guilt, and start January feeling ready — not defeated.
And if you want support, structure, coaching, accountability, and a clear plan you can follow no matter how busy or nervous you feel, the January 28 Day Kickstart is now open.
If you’re curious, message or comment “KICKSTART” and I’ll send you the details.
Hopefully these tips will help you too.
Any you’re going for this week?
Matt
