Wipe or wash? 😱

So I was on a course last week in Malaga

Learning a load of new cool stuff that I’ll be putting in place for the ladies inside our Fit For Life and Kickstart programmes 😃👍💪

But something that came up rather randomly…

Was the wash vs wipe debate.

You know, why do Europeans wash their bum

And Brits just wipe..

Now, I’m not here to debate this today..

It’s far too early and I wouldn’t want to put you off your chocolate croissant 🥐 

But what I will say is that you’ll notice that most Brits will say that washing is weird

And most Europeans will say that just wiping is weird.

(For the record, surely both is the best? 😂)

My point?

Anything new

Or

Anything different

Is always a bit “weird”…

Perhaps uncomfortable.

Scary.

Out of your comfort zone.

And it’s easy to get defensive 

Perhaps say things like 

“I’d never do that”

“I can’t do that”

“I’m too scared”

“I’m not fit enough”

“What if I’m the worst there?”

^^^ all sayings that your brain will then seek to prove right without any facts..which can often hold people back from starting.

And it reminds me of what Liz said last week on my Facebook page:

“It’s been a real pleasure getting fitter and feeling better about myself. 

Love the fact that not once did I feel I was being judged by Matt or any of the great ladies I met at the classes which are welcoming and inclusive.

The early workouts really set me up for the day”

Because ultimately 

The only way you’ll know if you can do it?

Is by giving it a go.
