“Good things come to those who wait”

I say to my kids 

As one of them asks for help whilst I’m cooking dinner…

But just like I also say when it comes to 

Getting out of bed when you’re tired 😴 

Walking up the hill when you’re Legs are aching 😣 

“Good things come to those who do it even when they don’t feel like”

After all, if I really relied on how I felt in the moment to decide what I did next…

I’d never exercise 

And I’d probably be either sleeping or eating 😂

And guess what?

It wouldn’t make me feel any better.

And this was evident in some of the wins last week (see images)

That’s the best part..

Collecting evidence that you CAN do this ..

Even when you don’t feel like it.

That you don’t need to wait for motivation to start 

(Or for life to calm down)

The secret?

Taking one step at a time

And moving from A to B today.
