5 metres? 😯

Spring is in the air (well, kind of)

So a trip to the garden centre was on the cards this weekend.

Mrs Fruci has been into her house plants for a while

And I must admit

They’re growing on me (pun intended)..

So I thought it would be nice to have some in our private ladies only studios in Marlborough and Devizes.

So after putting numerous plants in and out of my basket

I finally decided on the ones I wanted.

But I wasn’t done yet…

I wanted to know how big they can get.

And here’s what I was told…

About 5 metres

If you water it but not too much water…

Give it some light but not too much light…

Some humidity but not too much humidity…

🤷‍♂️

Remind you of anything?

Eat some carbs but not too many as they cause you to “store fat” 🤔

Eat protein to stay full and help your muscles but not too much as protein is “bad for your kidneys” 🤔

Eat fats as they’re essential but not too much as “fat makes you fat” 🤔

All of which are taken out of context…

Carbs only make you fat if you’re in a calorie surplus ..

Protein is only bad for already damaged kidneys …

Fats only make you fat if you’re in a calorie surplus…

My point here?

We end up getting confused and thinking there’s no ONE way so there’s NO way..

When the reality is that there is always A way…

And you have to choose A way to see what works for you.

Like they say about plants…

You’ll soon tell if it’s going well or not

And can then be directed to what you do next…

By what you have done.

The problem in health and fitness ?

Most people struggle to get started…

And if you don’t start?

You’ll never know how far you can go…

As you’re waiting for the perfect conditions

Which don’t exist…

Matt

PS. We are now back outside for our ladies only sessions and from next week our studios open back up. If you’d like more details just reply with “Kickstart” and I’ll get you the details.

PPS. We are having a competition between Marlborough and Devizes for who can get to 5 metres first 😉
